Took a while to figure this out, but this can be something like core values - the general ideas that ensure we have loving and honest project that accomplishes something. This part might be kinda cliche, but not really since I actually do care about this stuff and I'm not just saying it.
Being fully transparent about our processes, work, and just everything honestly.
Everyone has a perspective that needs to be valued. People's stories matter even if it's really hard to hear.
- An approach that is simple and not overwhelming to deal with - except for those who have taken exploitation problems deeply into their heart and want to feel the full weight of this so they can love deeply.
- Every person deserves control over themselves, their environment, and some control over solving problems that hurt them
- A project which relies heavily on feedback so we don't get too stuck in one direction that isn't helpful
- Trying to kindly, respectfully, and honestly communicate with everyone around us so we can connect with eachother in a world where communication is one of our biggest struggles
- Acknowledging the limitations of our words and how they get twisted.
- Actually having the tools to just **do something about this evil in our world.**
- Being prepared to handle exploitation in regular life
- Understanding our part in the overall effort against exploitation
Everyone has a part to play in this war.
These are things that I want to be built into whatever I do. I won't force everything on people, but if I am to lead things then I want to maintain these.
